REVIEWED BY 'MANHATTAN USERS GUIDE': There isn't much to this Quality Hotel that makes it distinctive. It's more or less average accommodations with no frills. Fortunately, the price is right. Avert your eyes as you make your way down the guest room hallways - there's some seriously bad, white light grimming down the proceedings. Guest rooms are done in traditional ho-hum design. There are one-line phones with dataport and voice mail, clock radio, safe, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and coffee maker. Bedding is variable - none of the mattresses seemed to match the hotel name, though. Windows are double paned, water pressure wasn't strong when we tested it and we have our doubts about it during the morning shower rush hour. Some rooms are dark. A small business center, operated with your credit card, has a computer, printer, copier, fax and internet access. The fitness room has a half dozen aerobics machines. A complimentary continental breakfast adds to the value of the Quality. |
